Job Overview
Pearl & Horn is seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant's front-of-house team. As a Front of House manager you will be accountable for daily financial and operational performance of the restaurant, assist with interview, hiring and training process of new team members. You must exemplify ingergrity and accountabilty at the managerial level.
Duties
- Supervise and manage front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, ensuring high standards of service are maintained.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Train and mentor staff.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front and back of house.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow during peak hours.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food preparation and handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area to create an inviting atmosphere.
Experience
- Proven experience in restaurant management or as an assistant manager in a fine dining environment is preferred.
- Strong background in food management, food preparation, and food handling practices.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team effectively.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
