Administrative Assistant, Pearl Two Condominium:
This is a full-time, temporary 3-month position with the possibility of extending the term and/or making the role permanent. Reports to Resident Manager.
* Must be fluent in English.
* Must be able to be bonded. Absolute honesty and integrity is a must.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel as a minimum. Must be “computer literate”, and able to learn other systems.
* Must have good verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate information and policies concisely. The job entails a lot of communication with residents and contractors, often when they are unhappy or distressed. Good “phone skills” are a must.
* Must be able to utilize existing filing system and update them as needed.
* Basic knowledge in payroll and accounting is preferred, but not required.
* Experience in the Property Management field is a big plus, but not required.
* Professionalism must be maintained at all times.
The primary job is as Administrative Assistant for the Resident Manager’s Office of Pearl Two Condominium
This includes, but is not limited to; Maintaining the database of Residents and Owners, both computerized, and hard copy. Greeting, briefing, and registering, new Residents and Owners. Preparing payroll, and maintaining applicable payroll records. Preparing and submitting employment documents. Preparing notices and communications to residents. Updating and maintaining the database for the keyless entry systems. Maintaining the database of suppliers, contractors, and other contacts, for the Association. Placing orders to suppliers, and accounting for those orders. Assisting the Maintenance and Watchman Supervisors with their staff schedules. All other duties as assigned.
Starting pay is $18.00/hr. Raises are based on Job Performance and Association Budget.
The first 90 days of employment is Probation. Upon completion of probation, employees begin to accrue sick leave at a rate of 4 hours per complete month, and become eligible for Single Medical coverage.
Normal Office Hours/working hours are 8am to 4:30pm, with a 30 minute lunch break, Monday thru Friday. Occasional overtime and Saturdays may be required.
