Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify cleaning projects and recommend these tasks to staff during slow periods.
- Supply clean dishes, glassware, silverware and equipment.
- Stock and requisition cleaning supplies as needed.
- Clean floors in work areas and frequently check floors in bars for spills.
- Assist with inventory of china, flatware and glassware.
- Perform pest control procedures in all kitchens.
- Clean and store kitchen equipment.
- Keep trash compactor area clean.
- Dispose of garbage.
- Report equipment failures to supervisor, before initiating a work order.
- Report unsafe conditions to supervisor immediately.
- Comply with all Pebble Beach Company safety and health policies and procedures.
Absolutely Required Skills
- One year kitchen, cleaning or dishwashing experience. Knowledge of sanitation.
- Ability to understand directions and communicate clearly with supervisor and co-workers.
- Must be able to lift and move heavy stock.
