Responsibilities:
- Ensure on-time delivery, quality standards, and cost efficiency of supplied materials
- Manage supplier contracts, negotiating terms to optimize value and mitigate risks
- Develop and execute supply risk mitigation plans to ensure continuity of supply
- Implement and drive a comprehensive cost reduction strategy across the supply chain
- Proactively identify and escalate key supply and cost risks to management for strategic decision-making
- 5 years of experience as a Global Supply Manager (GSM) working in industries such as automotive manufacturing
- Proven experience in automotive sourcing, with a strong understanding of industry dynamics and supplier relations
- Preferred experience sourcing custom mechanical systems used in automotive or RV's
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships
- Strong analytical abilities to assess supplier performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and mitigate risks
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment, collaborating closely with engineering, program management, and manufacturing teams
