Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial and industrial cleaning, with a background in housekeeping, hotel, or hospitality settings. This position involves maintaining a clean and orderly environment for our facilities. Able to communicate English/ bi-lingual preferred but it not a must.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Make beds and change linens
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure high standards of cleanliness
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in housekeeping or related field
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and chemical handling
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy objects
- Familiarity with floor care (e.g., vacuuming, mopping, waxing)
- Communicate with members/guests/co-workers/supervisor as needed.
