What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Room Attendant position at Rough Creek Lodge?
Position Purpose:
To clean and maintain guest rooms/houses and public areas in accordance with guest expectations and 5 Star standards as set forth by Rough Creek Lodge.
Examples of Duties:
- Arrive on time each scheduled shift, in proper working uniform, with appropriate equipment, in a friendly, caring frame of mind to assist all guests, management, and co-workers.
- Remove soiled laundry out of guest rooms.
- Maintain the stocking of clean laundry.
- Maintain the stocking of chemicals.
- Clean and maintain guest rooms per standards.
- Clean and maintain all public areas per standards.
- Stock attendant carts (or supply baskets) with appropriate supplies and linens to maintain guest rooms and public areas.
- Greet guests in a caring, friendly and courteous manner when ANY guest is encountered throughout the property.
- All other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or other members of management.
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 20 lbs. from floor to overhead position.
- Must be able to work outside in the elements when needed
- Ability to speak English well.
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent technical or trade school certification.
