Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Cook role at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead, NY. The Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, following recipes and preparing food to meet dietary requirements, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen maintenance
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-volume meal production
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain one
- Experience in healthcare or hospitality industry is a plus
- High School diploma or equivalent
