`Overview```We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Camp Counselors. As a Camp Counselor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children while creating fun and memorable experiences. This is a rewarding position that allows you to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
```Responsibilities```- Plan, organize, and lead a variety of camp activities and games- Supervise and ensure the safety of campers at all times- Provide guidance and support to campers in their personal growth and development- Create a positive and inclusive environment for all campers- Assist with daily tasks such as mealtime supervision, restroom breaks, and transitions between activities- Collaborate with other camp staff to coordinate schedules and ensure smooth operation of the camp
```Experience```To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:- Capable of riding a bike
- Own your own bike and helmet (or have consistent reliable access to a bike & helmet)
- Sports coaching or tutoring experience is preferred- Previous childcare or daycare experience is a plus- Ability to educate and engage children in various activities- Knowledge of childhood development principles- First aid certification is desirable- Experience working with students or managing a classroom is beneficial- Theater or performing arts background is a bonus
