Join Our Team as a Pediatric Dental Flipper Floater Assistant!

We’re looking for a dynamic Pediatric Dental Flipper Floater Assistant to join our amazing Pell City team and help create positive, fun dental visits for our youngest patients!
As a Pediatric Dental Flipper Floater Assistant, you’ll be the friendly face and helping hand that ensures every child feels at ease, while supporting our dental team in providing top-notch care. What You’ll Do:
- Assist pediatric dentists and dental hygienists in delivering exceptional care for children
- Manage patient flow and ensure smooth operations in a bustling pediatric dental office
- Help calm and entertain young patients during their dental visits, making it a fun and stress-free experience
- Sterilize equipment and maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment
- Float between different stations, helping out wherever needed — no two days are the same!
- Educate parents and caregivers on aftercare instructions and good dental hygiene practices
- Work as a team to ensure that the office runs smoothly, providing exceptional care every step of the way!
What We’re Looking For:

- Dental assistant experience preferred, but we’re open to training someone with the right attitude and enthusiasm.
- Great communication skills to talk to both kids and parents with warmth and patience.
- Flexibility and adaptability to float between different tasks and areas as needed.

Schedule & Hours:
Monday through Thursday, 7:40AM-5:00PM
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Should be fluent in Spanish and be able to converse, translate, interpret, provide assistance ensuring clear and accurate communication
- Knowledge of experience working with Dentrix software preferred
- Knowledge or x-ray certification preferred
- Knowledge of Dental terminology preferred
- Must possess excellent interpersonal relations skills and have the capability of relating to a variety of people and personalities
- Must possess a high level of flexibility and tolerance to adjustments/changes in work loads and assignments
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Must be available weekly Monday through Thursday.
