At Pediatric Dental Associates we are seeking a highly organized and compassionate IV/Oral Surgery Coordinator to join our team. This candidate will be responsible coordinating IV/Oral Surgery care for our patients, managing schedules, and ensuring a smooth experience for both patients and dental providers at our Hoover location. This position requires great communication skills, ability to multitask, and excellent organizational skills.

Other duties responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage patient appointments and ensure the schedule runs efficiently.
- Coordinate with dental professionals and support staff for smooth operations.
- Oversee specialty services like oral surgery
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients.
- Address patient inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
- Assist patients with insurance claims, billing, and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinic documentation.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA in the U.S.).
- Manage supplies, equipment orders, and inventory.
Required education and experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (minimum).
- Prior experience in healthcare coordination, dental practices, or hospital administration.
- Knowledge of dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Dolphin) and office systems.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in insurance claims and billing systems.
- Problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with dental procedures and terminology.
- Ability to speak fluently in Spanish is preferred
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:40AM-5:00PM, Friday- 7:50AM-12:00PM
- Candidate must be abele to work 2-4 surgery days per month 6AM-3PM
