Student Support Professional
We are currently hiring for a Student Support Professional to join our team at Pediatric Developmental Services. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting students with special needs and contributing to their academic and personal growth.
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing individualized support to students, assisting with lesson plans, and maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement behavioral plans to support students with challenging behaviors
- Provide emotional support and counseling to students as needed
- Assist with classroom management and organization
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- First Aid and CPR certification required
- Certification in QBS and/or Boys Town preferred
- Previous experience working with children with special needs preferred
