At Pediatric Developmental Services, we are dedicated to providing exceptional educational support to children in public schools and communities nationwide.

We are seeking a highly skilled Special Education Teacher to join our team of qualified professionals. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and executing individualized education plans for students with special needs.

Your primary goal will be to help each student reach their full potential by utilizing evidence-based instructional strategies and working closely with other staff members and family members to ensure consistent progress.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with K-12 children and make a lasting impact on their lives. If you are passionate about helping others and possess a Master's Degree/Certification in Special Education, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
  • Communicate regularly with other staff members and family members to ensure consistent progress
  • Prepare detailed lesson plans and submit them to administrators for approval
  • Participate in IEP meetings as scheduled by the school
  • Use evidence-based instructional strategies to support student learning
  • Involve family members in the educational process whenever possible
  • Create and distribute progress reports quarterly
  • Collaborate with on-site therapists to address disciplinary and behavioral issues
