Responsibilities:
- Create and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Communicate regularly with other staff members and family members to ensure consistent progress
- Prepare detailed lesson plans and submit them to administrators for approval
- Participate in IEP meetings as scheduled by the school
- Use evidence-based instructional strategies to support student learning
- Involve family members in the educational process whenever possible
- Create and distribute progress reports quarterly
- Collaborate with on-site therapists to address disciplinary and behavioral issues
