Job Overview: We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Medical Concierge who is proficient in both English and Spanish, and skilled in phlebotomy. As a Medical Concierge, you will provide top-tier customer service and perform essential phlebotomy tasks, ensuring that patients receive the best care in a welcoming and efficient environment. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient experiences and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional concierge-level service by assisting patients with appointment scheduling, inquiries, and any special healthcare needs.
- Perform phlebotomy duties, including venipuncture, capillary puncture, and blood specimen collection, following all safety protocols.
- Ensure accurate labeling and handling of blood samples for processing and delivery to appropriate labs.
- Communicate clearly with patients in both English and Spanish, providing instructions and information about their procedures and healthcare needs.
- Assist patients with administrative tasks such as completing forms and processing medical records.
- Maintain a clean and sterile work environment, ensuring all medical equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
- Support healthcare professionals by coordinating patient care, ensuring smooth workflow, and contributing to a positive environment.
- Educate patients about their procedures, offering guidance and support in a culturally sensitive manner.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and refer to appropriate healthcare professionals as needed.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in phlebotomy is preferred.
- Experience as a medical concierge, phlebotomist, or in a similar healthcare setting is desirable.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both languages (spoken and written).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and provide support in both languages.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain a compassionate, calm, and professional demeanor under pressure.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical office procedures.
- Must be able to perform phlebotomy and handle medical equipment with precision and care.
