Job Description: Adult Private Duty Nurse - LVN

Skills Required:

• Pediatric Private Duty Nurse LVN
• Experience with a G-tube, trach, vent, and colostomy bag
• Ability to work with bed ridden/immobile patients
• Ability to work with non verbal patients

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and reliable Pediatric Private Duty Nurse to provide individualized care for pediatric patients in a home setting. The ideal candidate will have expertise in pediatric nursing, a strong commitment to patient care, and the ability to work independently while maintaining close communication with families and healthcare teams. This position requires a nurse who can offer clinical support and comfort for children with varying medical needs, ensuring their safety, well-being, and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor the patient's condition and vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
• Provide emotional support to the patient and their family
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the patient's needs are met
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Communicate effectively with the patient, their family, and other healthcare professionals

Qualifications:

• Active LVN license in the state of Texas
• Experience working with non - verbal patient
• Experience working with immobile patient
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
