Job Summary:
The Pediatric Private Duty Nurse will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in a private duty setting. The nurse will work closely with the patient and their family to develop and implement a care plan that meets the patient's unique needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor the patient's condition and vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Provide emotional support to the patient and their family
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the patient's needs are met
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Communicate effectively with the patient, their family, and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications:
- Current nursing license in the state of Texas
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
