Title: Clinic Manager
Work location: On-site – Tacoma, Gig Harbor, and Federal Way.
Schedule: Full-time; No nights and closed for major holidays. This position requires responding to early morning call-outs prior to standard business hours.
Pay: $80,000 - $105,000/year. Salary commensurate with experience.
Pediatrics Northwest is seeking a Clinic Manager to oversee daily operations across our clinics. In this role, you will collaborate with the Director of Clinical Operations, administration, and Clinicians to implement changes, drive process improvements, and ensure exceptional patient care.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Director of Clinical Operations to develop and implement policies, procedures, budgets, quality assurance plans, and work standards.
- Collaborate with clinical staff and Clinicians to ensure the highest quality patient care.
- Develop and implement process and quality improvements.
- Work with the Director of Clinical Operations and Clinicians to maintain and update clinical protocols, ensuring accurate and timely dissemination of information to staff.
- Supervise assigned staff, handling scheduling, time-off requests, payroll, performance evaluations, training, and disciplinary actions.
- Organize and lead staff meetings, setting clear agendas.
- Manage assigned clinic projects, provide progress updates and reports, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Address daily intraoffice issues, including problem-solving staff and patient concerns, handling last-minute staffing adjustments, and escalating issues as needed.
- Travel regularly to clinics to engage with staff, offer support, and assist with supply/material transfers between offices.
- Act as a primary resource for problem-solving and support for clinical staff.
- Manage the medication and supply ordering for each office.
- Participate in practice growth and planning with practice leadership.
- Participate in practice meetings, committees and workgroups as needed.
- Collaborate with the HR department to recruit, onboard, train, and evaluate clinical staff.
- Foster a positive work environment by organizing team-building activities and identifying opportunities to boost employee morale and motivation.
- Monitor clinical compliance with standards such as OSHA regulations, hazardous materials management, and disaster preparedness.
- Conduct monthly safety checks in treatment rooms and ensure daily checks are completed.
- Participate in safety training sessions and meetings, including mock emergency drills at each clinic location.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Health Care Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a medical office setting may substitute for the degree requirement.
- Experience in pediatrics is preferred.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
