What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Support Specialist position at Pediatrics Plus?
We are currently seeking an Applications Specialist to join our team of highly qualified professionals that share our vision of Empowering Children to Conquer their World! This role is responsible for providing support for all company software applications. This includes implementation of new software systems, maintenance of current systems, and end user support. The Applications Specialist will also maintain all vendor relationships and associated contracts.

What you will do:
- Provide end user support for issues related to applications and software systems.
- Act as a liaison between the end user and software companies to ensure resolution of any issues.
- Provide training to end-users on functionality and best practices for software systems.
- Create, maintain, and update user manuals for software systems and processes.
- Create, maintain, and update documentation for all SaaS used across the company.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper implementation and maintenance of new or current systems.
- Evaluate new SaaS applications based on business needs.
- Aide in negotiation of contracts with vendors as needed.
- Assist in deployment of new software systems.
- Identify issues with current systems and propose solutions to improve system functionality and end-user experience.
- Track all SaaS subscriptions across the organization and manage all licenses for each subscription.
- Analyze SaaS spending, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize license usage to control costs.
- Onboard and offboard end users based on position across the organization.
- Manage user permissions and access levels for each SaaS application to ensure data security and compliance.
- Exhibit good communication skills, communicating with team members and outside contractors/providers with clarity anc in a professional and timely manner.

Education/ Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 2 years in a related field, preferred.
Skills/ Abilities:

- Advanced computer skills, including a working knowledge of keyboarding, database, word processing, spreadsheet, and Internet software.
