Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the newborn hospitalist group at Pediatrix Medical Group. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional care to infants and their families, working collaboratively with neonatologists and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage admissions and care of patients in the newborn nursery, including delivery attendance, transitional care, circumcisions, and consultations with families
- Collaborate with neonatologists as needed and in high-risk situations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and education programs
