Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Newborn Nursery
Summary:
We seek a highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the newborn nursery. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing comprehensive care to newborns and their families, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 10-hour, in-house coverage in the newborn nursery, no call requirements
- Manage admissions and care of infants in the newborn nursery, delivery attendance, transitional care, circumcisions, and consultations with families
- Collaborate with neonatologists as needed and in all high-risk situations
- Participate in education and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Current APRN national specialty certification
- Minimum of a master's degree
