What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant position at Pedley Veterinary Hospital?
Pedley Veterinary Hospital is looking for a veterinary client services representative to join our team.
Job Duties include
Ability to educate clients on common health conditions and medication
Scheduling and confirming appointments
Presenting and explaining fees including processing payments
Answering questions regarding products and services including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non medical pet care
Managing medical records ,charts hospital maintenance and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times
Job Requirement
Ability to sit,squat,bend,walk quickly,and stand for 6 hours at a time be able to lift pull restrain or push 50lbs of weight reach above head and be exposed to hazards associated with pets such as allergies , contagious disease , noises , odor , bites ,scratches and animal waste goos working knowledge of computers and be able to learn our database software.
must be available to work Saturdays 8am - 4pm
EXPERIENCE preferred as a Veterinary Receptionist
Excellent with people the ability to work and communicate well with clients
Must show proficiency in handling money and basic math skills
Must be able to work well under pressure in a very busy environment
Must have great phone skills able to dictate messages and communicate it to the veterinarian
Must accurately record information keep medical records organized

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

- Weekends as needed
