ABOUT THE POSITION
Peek & Miska serves clients in the fields of business, taxation, and commercial real estate.
We are seeking a self-motivated, highly organized Paralegal/Office Administrator to work on transactional business and real estate client projects and to play a critical role in managing all things related to our office. Part-Time or Full-Time options available.
WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING
- Oversee of all the office operations including billing, supplies, deliveries, banking, and computers
- Field internal and external general office inquiries, as well as solve problems quickly and efficiently
- Vendor management: work with external vendors related to office supplies, technology, equipment
- Data entry and organization of physical and cloud-based files
- Follow and suggest improvements to file naming conventions and folder taxonomies
- Manage planning, logistics and calendaring associated with attorney meetings and other events
- File and record documents with the Secretary of State and county clerk’s office
- Draft legal documents under the supervision of one or more attorneys
- Organize and support business mergers and acquisitions and commercial real estate closings
- Assist attorneys with different legal and administrative tasks and projects as needed
WHAT WOULD SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS
- 2 years of office management experience
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a calm, organized manner
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills

- Eager to solve problems and take on responsibility
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to execute items quickly, work under pressure and handle time-sensitive items with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Vendor management experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification preferred

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
