Senior Accountant

Peerless Search Partners is working with a growing healthcare client who is looking for a Senior Accountant. This is a highly flexible hybrid role, 2 days in office, 3 days work from home! Candidates must be in the Columbus, OH metro area.

The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to ASC 842, monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead lease accounting in accordance to ASC 842
• Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
• Assist with the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Qualifications

• 3 years' of professional accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
• CPA preferred
