Job Description: Leasing Consultant (100-200 Units)

This may be a full or part-time position that is responsible for the successful marketing, leasing, and retention of their assigned communities.
In this position, employees must be able to demonstrate firsthand experience to execute in these key responsibilities, work behaviors and characteristics:
Key Responsibilities with direction from the property or assistant property manager:
- Oversee the leasing process from lead generation through lease execution, maintaining strong occupancy rates.
- Foster positive resident relationships to promote retention and community satisfaction.
- Efficiently update, maintain, and execute on marketing action plans.
- Manage quality control of data in our property management software.
- Monitor and maintain occupancy rates to meet or exceed budget projections.
- Proactively managing the community’s social media presence and reputation.
- Ability to generate and maintain market survey and Yardi reports and explain leasing status efforts and accomplishments.
- Maintaining compliance with all applicable laws, codes, etc.
- Additional tasks may be assigned based on the staffing needs of the community.

Additional Requirements:
- Proficiency in the Yardi Suite of products and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and other industry standards.
- Ability to work weekends.
- 2 years of real estate marketing and/or leasing experience.
Physical Characteristics:
- Office-based with occasional property tours and resident interactions.
- Valid driver’s license and insurability for company vehicles.
- Ability to walk moderate distances across the property and climb stairs as needed.
