This privately held manufacturer has seen consistent growth and is looking for an enthusiastic Accountant to join their experienced, high-impact finance team. This is a rare opportunity to step into an Accountant role with a clear path to grow into an Assistant Controller.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Handle journal entries, reconcile accounts, and assist with month-end and year-end close
- Assist with general accounting tasks like processing invoices, handling tax documents, and pulling financial reports
- Support the creation and maintenance of internal controls and policies
- Assist with preparing financial statements
- Prepare monthly commission reports
- Review financial data to spot and correct any errors or discrepancies
- Create and update internal reports used by management and external partners
- Help gather information and build out budgets and financial forecasts
- Assist with audit preparation and support the team during the audit process
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1 year of accounting experience
- Experience with ERP systems
