Job Description
Develop and maintain data warehouse infrastructure, data pipelines, APIs, and self-service web applications for storing and processing digital safety data, using Python, Django, Celery, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, containers, shell scripts, GitLab CI / CD pipelines, and other tools as needed.
Deploy and administer cloud and Kubernetes resources, services, datasets and databases, including performing backup, restore, migration, access changes, and other tasks as needed.
Attend and participate in standups, sprint planning, and other meetings as needed.
Author documentation in the form of websites, slideshows, technical reports, announcements, and generated references as needed.
Support DSRI staff in adopting infrastructure, tools, and services as needed.
Work in an asynchronous environment, and be responsive to email, Slack messages, and other modes of communication during agreed-upon working hours as needed.
Education and Experience
B.S. in computer science
7-10 years of relevant experience
