Description:
Coordinate activities of workers concerned with receiving, inventorying, picking, and preparing
products for same day receiving and shipping both nationally and internationally.
- Identify work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow.
- Issue written and oral instructions.
- Examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to customer’s shipping and packaging requests
and procedures.
- Standardize procedures to improve efficiency of workers.
- Maintain harmony among workers and resolve grievances.
- Ensure correct shipment of all jobs have been completely processed and verified accurate through quality.
- Monitor material handlers, forklift drivers, and CDL drivers for productivity.
- Constant communication with our suppliers and internal departments to ensure on time delivery.
- Interaction with our vendors and the sales department to address their needs, inquiries and requests.
- Ship priority jobs and ensure all necessary paperwork is shipped with all jobs.
- Review and monitor production schedules for the most accurate results with consideration to capacity levels,
efficiency, etc.
- Reviewing and monitoring ordering systems and acting on order releases to meet our overall goal of
customer satisfaction, while ensuring compliance with our company policy.
- All other duties as assigned
- Requires a minimum of 3 years of shipping/receiving experience or equivalent specialized training and/or work
experience.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of production control processes and procedures.
- Ability to read and speak English.
- Must have basic knowledge of the metric system.
- Must work in and develop a 5S environment.
- Must have working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
- Ability to maneuver up to 200 lbs. independently.
- Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Proven ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their best.
- Strong communication skills to ensure clarity and collaboration.
- Experience in identifying and resolving problems quickly and efficiently.

Associates degree from an accredited college or university; and three to five years of related experience and/or
training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
