We are in search of a Materials Control Supervisor to join our team located in North Charleston, South Carolina. In this role, you will be tasked with the receipt, quality assurance, and distribution of materials within the warehouse. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and facilitating efficient communication between various departments. This job provides an opportunity for contract to permanent employment.Responsibilities:• Ensure the receipt of incoming materials aligns with the purchase order and Bill of Lading (BOL)• Verify the quantity, quality, product description, and model number of received materials• Facilitate the allocation of materials to designated warehouse locations• Attach RFMS ID tags to materials detailing job number, warehouse location, and material description• Regularly review Schedule Pro to plan future material shipments • Prepare materials for shipment two days prior to the job schedule dates as indicated in Schedule Pro• Produce Pick Tickets for jobs scheduled for next day shipment• Complete and deliver Pick and delivery Tickets RFMS after materials have been dispatched from the warehouse• Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager to request materials for inventory stock or specific jobs• Facilitate the return of damaged or incorrectly shipped goods and promptly inform the Purchasing Manager • Implement inventory cycle counts and assist with annual warehouse physical inventory audits• Ensure accurate and timely communication with staff in Charleston and Charlotte Offices• Process and email daily BOLs to Accounts Payable (A/P)
