Pelago is looking for a Growth Marketing Associate. The role is ideal for a motivated individual with a passion for marketing and a desire to contribute to the success of a high-performing marketing team. The position offers opportunities for growth and development within the marketing field.
As a Marketing Associate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the marketing team's initiatives and ensuring the successful execution of marketing campaigns. This position requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can assist in various aspects of marketing, including campaign management, event coordination, email support, and approval process. The Marketing Coordinator is a key contributor to the overall success of the marketing department.
This is a hybrid role, located in commutable distance to our NYC office for weekly lunches, collaboration, and teamwork.

In this role you will…
- Support and execute marketing campaigns, including organizing and maintaining project files, schedules, and asset customization.
- Partner internally and externally in managing client approval processes.
- Support the planning and execution of events (benefit fairs, webinars, etc).
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns independently and in collaboration.
- Maintain email lists, set up and deploy basic emails, and assist in preparing performance metrics reports.
- Contribute to the team managing marketing tickets and key projects.
- Collaborate with the team to diligently track marketing spend and the budget
- Collaborate with Client Success & internal stakeholders to adapt campaigns to specific client challenges.
- Customize marketing assets for our client base.
- Own our member satisfaction survey process.
- Manage client landing pages, including optimizing for content and conversion.
- Adopt our culture of experimentation and optimization by identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for A/B testing across campaigns and channels.
- Two years of previous marketing experience. Healthcare marketing is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Be a problem solver with the ability to investigate the root cause of issues and roadblocks.
- Ability to objectively evaluate data and information.
- Analytical mindset: capable of using data to make informed decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of email automation tools and digital marketing concepts.
