Position Summary
Event Coordinators are actively engaged with our guests and the community. This role's primary function is to grow our events & catering business in our set of unique and exciting private dining venues at Luogo and Pelato. Event Coordinators are eager to convert leads into contracts, and are highly detail oriented and hospitable with our clients. As Events Coordinator, you will work with the General Manager to curate events brochures and menus, utilize and customize sales systems and software, and contribute to our culture of excellence in service & hospitality. Event Coordinators will work with a tight-knit team in a family-owned & fast paced environment, where input and ideas are appreciated and celebrated!
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years events sales experience in high volume restaurants
- TripleSeat experience mandatory
- Stellar verbal & written communication skills
- Passion for sales & business growth
- Sincere hospitality & sales instincts
- Quick-witted problem-solving skills
- Multi-tasking abilities in high volume situations
- Available and flexible schedules including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to perform physical requirements of position including standing and walking for extended periods of time, bending, pulling, pushing, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds
Responsibilities
- Quickly responding to all large party, events, & catering leads
- Communicating event details with our kitchen & service operations teams to ensure perfect execution
- Business & community outreach to engage with potential event clients
- Ensure brochures, menus, and contracts are accurate and up to date
- Guest facing presence for site walk-throughs, menu tastings, and service as needed
- Meeting and exceeding events sales budgets
- Placing orders for products, including operational supplies, table linens, decor, etc
- Other duties, initiatives, and tasks as per business need

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
