This is a tremendous career opportunity with a very high end and stable buy-side firm and would be a great career move for someone with 1-3 years of equities settlements experience with a sell-side firm who is looking to move to the buy-side; or an Operations Associate with 1 years of experience with a buy-side firm who is looking to move to a better firm.
In summary, you will provide general operations support as part of a small, tight knit team.
This will include:
- Daily/monthly cash and position reconciliations
- Liaise with custodians/prime brokers to resolve trade breaks
- Booking daily cash flows
- Assist with trade settlement
- Assist with corporate actions tracking and verification
- New account/security setup
- New investor onboarding and cash flows
Requirements include:
- 1-5 years of experience with trade settlements (global equites preferred)
- Buy-side experience strongly preferred
- Experience with reconciliations
- Extensive equities (domestic and international) experience required; FX, derivatives (P-notes, total return swaps, etc..) is also helpful
- Must be very organized, quantitative, and detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Advent Axys, STAARS or Eze or similar systems
- Completed college degree required, Finance, Economics or related course of study preferred
Salary : $100,000 - $125,000
