Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our team. The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing the logistics of our ambulance services, ensuring that our vehicles are well-equipped, maintained, and ready to respond to emergencies efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the maintenance, servicing, and scheduling of ambulance vehicles.
- Ensure that all vehicles are stocked with necessary medical supplies and equipment.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of medical supplies, medications, and equipment.
- Develop and implement efficient logistics plans for ambulance deployment and operations.
- Work closely with EMTs, paramedics, and other staff to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain records of vehicle maintenance, inventory, and logistics activities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any logistical issues that may arise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Health Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to EMS operations.
