Pella Christian is rooted in the Reformed faith and firmly believe that God is sovereign over all areas of life and learning, including our curricular and co-curricular activities. Recent Professional Development for teachers has focused on Teaching for Transformation, Deeper Learning, Student Support Services, and peer collaboration.
We are seeking highly qualified individuals who are in full agreement with Pella Christian’s Statement of Faith. Pella Christian Grade School and Pella Christian High School are accredited by Christian Schools International (CSI). Applicants must possess or be able to obtain proper licensure/endorsements as described in the job description.

JV Baseball Coach
Pella Christian School is prayerfully seeking applicants for a JV baseball coach for the 2025 season. The position entails leading the high school boys’ JV baseball program, developing student athletes on and off the field, and fostering a culture of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship through the Coaching for Transformation Framework.
Qualification Requirements:
- Prior coaching experience at the high school level (preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of baseball rules, techniques, and strategies
- Ability to work effectively with student-athletes, parents, and school administration
- Current coaching certification, first aid, and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Agreement with the Pella Christian Schools Mission and Statement of Faith, and membership and regular participation in a Christian church
Job Requirements:
- Fulfill the mission of Pella Christian High School to educate and nurture each student to serve in God’s world.
- Build a team-culture around Christian values, including Christ-like sportsmanship and accountability
- Ensure compliance with school, league, and IHSAA guidelines, including maintaining a safe practice and game environment
- Represent the Pella Christian Athletic Department positively in the community
