JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- High School Diploma or GED (General Education Development)
- Current healthcare professional certification or license as applicable in the state of practice. Must maintain certification or licensure throughout the duration of employment in this role. This applies to: Respiratory Therapist, Military (Corpsman or Medical Services Specialist), Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Certified Hyperbaric Specialist, Certified Hyperbaric Registered Nurse, Certified or Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Hyperbaric Technologist, Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Hyperbaric Wound Specialist, Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant, or completion of Hyperbaric Training from US Department of Defense (US Navy, Army or Coast Guard Diver (1st or 2nd class or Master designation)), US Air Force Aerospace Physiology Specialist.
- 40 hour HBO tech course required or completed within 3 months of hire.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS required. New employees certify within three (3) months after hire date.
