Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Representative located in Boston, MA. The Sales Representative will be responsible for engaging with clients and visitors, presenting artwork and providing detailed information about the artists and exhibitions, and facilitating sales transactions. Additional tasks include managing client relations, maintaining the gallery's inventory, and organizing gallery events and openings.
Qualifications
- 2 Years in luxury sales
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in sales, client relations, or customer service
- Knowledge or passion for contemporary art and a willingness to learn
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Art, Art History, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in an art gallery or similar environment is a plus
- Open to do tasks beyond sales, for example showing the gallery, attending events . We are a small gallery so we want someone who is open to being part of this family.
