Key Responsibilities
The Student Services Coordinator serves as the initial customer service contact for Student Services, assisting students/parents with all onboarding/enrollment questions and providing direct assistance to help them apply to Pellissippi State, enroll in classes, collect documents, and understand the appropriate forms and processes for all areas of Enrollment Services.
- Assist students/parents with application assistance, scheduling appointments, and navigating MyPellissippi.
- Provide individual assistance to students, including analyzing and troubleshooting their needs, and assisting with online self-service accounts.
- Offer information to students, parents, staff, and the general public regarding enrollment and financial aid questions and/or requirements.
- Collect, scan, download, and note completed financial aid documents via various electronic or non-electronic submissions.
- Work with each student holistically to create social belonging, build rapport, and establish the Start Strong mentality to increase student success and retention.
