About the Role
Peloton Cycle is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Refurbishment Director to oversee our refurbishment operations in the US. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of our refurbishment process and quality of our products.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, refurbishment, or operations management, with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a leadership role. A proven track record of driving performance across cross-functional teams is essential. The successful candidate will also possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills and be able to interact effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a large team of full-time and contract employees responsible for the day-to-day operations of mechanical and electronic refurbishment
- Ensure products are refurbished to meet quality standards while minimizing costs and downtime
- Develop and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for refurbishment processes
- Utilize Lean methodologies and 5S principles to drive continuous improvement and optimize workflows, reducing waste and increasing throughput
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master's in Engineering, etc.) is a plus
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Strong ability to motivate and develop a team to achieve operational excellence
- In-depth knowledge of Lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies
