The Transit Construction Site Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of construction projects at transit sites for PEMCCO's client in Baltimore, MD on a full-time basis. This position involves planning, scheduling, and coordinating inspections while reporting outcomes. It also includes verifying utility line locations to ensure compliance with general utility services regulations. The coordinator will serve as a liaison between construction teams, utility providers, and other stakeholders to maintain compliance, safety, and project timelines.

Essential Functions
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for site activities, including inspections and utility verification.
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to align schedules with project timelines through regular meetings and the use of scheduling tools.
- Schedule and coordinate required inspections with relevant agencies and ensure timely completion.
- Document inspection results and follow up on any corrective actions required.
- Coordinate with utility services providers to mark and verify the location of underground utility lines.
- Monitor and maintain utility line markings throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on site activities, inspection outcomes, and utility verification updates for review by project managers and other relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of all activities and share updates with the project manager and stakeholders.
- Ensure all site activities adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as organizational safety protocols.
- Report and address safety hazards and incidents promptly.

- Basic understanding of utility line verification processes and construction safety protocols.
- Familiarity with Miss Utility regulations and processes.
- Knowledge of construction project planning and scheduling.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in report writing and documentation.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and prioritize effectively, such as managing overlapping inspection schedules, addressing urgent safety issues, or ensuring timely reporting for critical project milestones.
- Capability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline) OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience.
- Minimum of 6 months-1 year of experience in construction, utility verification, or a related field.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications (Tools & Technology Used)
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with utility mapping software and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or AutoCAD Map 3D.
- Competence in using standard office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Familiarity with safety equipment and tools used in utility line marking and verification.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience working on transit or infrastructure projects.
- Certifications in construction safety (e.g., OSHA 10/30).
- Experience with Miss Utility ticket management systems.
