As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and customer retention for our company. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximize sales and customer loyalty, as well as coordinating various activities to support the sales and customer care teams. It will be expected that the majority of time spent in this role is coaching our teams towards efficiency and comfortability with sales and retention conversations.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, a strong understanding of sales processes, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Occasional travel will be involved.
Responsibilities Include:
Sales Development:
- Collaborating with the sales and customer care teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics
- Assisting in the execution of sales campaigns and initiatives to generate leads and conversions
- Providing support in prospecting, qualifying leads and conducting sales presentations as needed
- Tracking and analyzing sales data to measure agent performance and identify areas for improvement
Retention Development:
- Developing and implementing customer retention strategies to minimize churn and increase customer loyalty
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the customer experience throughout the customer lifecycle
- Analyzing customer feedback and recommending improvements based on the results
- Collecting competitive analysis to provide insights on retention tactics and help educate our teams on market trends
Sales Support and Coordination:
- Developing and executing agent training; including on-boarding training, remedial one-on-one training touch bases and new product sales support
- Coordinating and supporting sales activities; including scheduling meetings, preparing and teaching sales materials and maintaining sales data
- Collaborating with the marketing team to ensure alignment of sales and marketing efforts
- Assisting in the development of sales incentives, presentations and proposals
- Responsible for all incentive announcements, team engagement throughout incentive, update notices and educational training and materials
- Attending team huddles to connect with teams on a monthly basis to encourage sales and retention initiatives
- Maintaining accurate tracking/records of sales activities, sales incentives and customer follow-up actions
Relationship Management:
- It is expected that 75% of time in this role is dedicated to work with our customer care and sales teams, creating a trusted and valued connection with our sales and retention methodology
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key vendors, partners and leadership
- Conducting regular call calibration for our customer care and sales teams, addressing concerns, celebrating successes and identifying up-selling or cross-selling opportunities
- Acting as a point of contact for team inquiries, providing timely and accurate information
- Customer recovery may be required at times of call discovery, we will look for this candidate to engage with our customers if recovery is required
- Setting a good example to peers and demonstrating what is being taught
- Upholding our brand values and promises at all times; being a brand ambassador for the company
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. and related job experience required
- Established residency in Pennsylvania
- Valid PA Driver's License and good driving record
- Proven experience in sales results, employee development and customer retention
- Strong understanding of sales processes, techniques and strategies
- Understanding of Sales & Marketing tactics
- Proficiency in Zendesk/CRM software, Five9, Basecamp, Slack, CAMP/SLICC/ICOMS and MS Office suite
- Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills; ability to build rapport and motivate others
- Exceptional Organizational and Time Management Skills; ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
- It is expected that administrative tasks are handled with efficiency to ensure most of the time is spent working with our customer care and sales teams directly
