Our client, a New York City organization dedicated to school construction across all five boroughs, is urgently seeking to hire a Management Specialist for its Office of Capital, Grants, and Finance.

The Management Specialist is responsible for conducting various analytical tasks to ensure the effective execution of the division's capital and operational plans.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development of methodologies, analytical models, and automated systems to assess and address administrative and operational challenges, implementing effective solutions.
• Coordinate with external vendors and consultants to facilitate project objectives.
• Contribute to the creation and execution of a comprehensive management plan for the division.
• Identify problems, propose solutions, and assist in implementing corrective procedures.
• Conduct system reviews or audits to evaluate the efficiency of newly established processes.
• Assist in planning and analyzing resource allocation to align with the agency's objectives and goals.
• Prepare detailed analytical reports on assigned projects.
• Perform other related tasks as required
• Reviewing and understanding contract and grants compliance

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university 
• 5 years of experience in design/development/implementation of management reports, financial analysis or management analysis
• Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Must have a working knowledge of Excel, Cognos, & PowerBi.  
• Strong skills with large volume of data entry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
