Job Description
Our client is seeking dedicated, experienced Night Shift Travelers for itsAdult Med/Surg units. If you have a passion for providing high-quality care and thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment, we want you to be part of our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a Level 1 or 2 Trauma Center with a dynamic team and contribute to making a positive impact on patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide excellent nursing care to patients in an adult med/surg unit.
Perform key patient care skills including IV insertion, lab draws, and telemonitoring.
Utilize your expertise in nursing assessment with minimal orientation and supervision.
Work every other weekend and 2 out of 3 major seasonal holidays.
Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
Follow hospital policies and procedures to maintain a safe and effective care environment.
Qualifications:
Active New York State RN license.
Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ability to maintain certification.
At least 1.5 years of recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility, preferably of similar size and trauma center level.
Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers is highly preferred.
EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Must have no history of professional license suspensions, investigations, or professional liability claims.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and criminal background check.
