Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Subcontract Administrator to join our clients team. In this critical role, you will lead and mentor a team of subcontract professionals, ensuring seamless and compliant subcontract management across a portfolio of government contracts. You will play a pivotal role in supporting mission-critical programs for our esteemed clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Subcontract Lifecycle Management :
- Manage the full lifecycle of subcontracts, including solicitation, negotiation, award, administration, and closeout.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal regulations, including FAR / DFARS, and internal policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive subcontract files and documentation.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship :
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of subcontract professionals.
- Provide guidance and support on complex subcontract issues.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Risk Management & Mitigation :
- Proactively identify and assess potential risks associated with subcontracts.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize risk and ensure successful contract performance.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and address any issues promptly.
- Collaboration & Communication :
- Collaborate effectively with program managers, legal counsel, procurement, and other internal stakeholders.
- Communicate complex information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors.
- Continuous Improvement :
- Continuously review and improve subcontract processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Stay abreast of changes in federal regulations and industry best practices.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations.
