Position: Special Access Program Security Specialist
Clearance: Top Secret
Work Location: Arlington, VA
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday onsite (Regular Full-time)

Position Summary
We are seeking a Special Access Program (SAP) Security Support Specialist to provide critical security support for international partners and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) participants. This role includes managing SAP requirements, overseeing compliance, and coordinating with security teams to ensure protection of sensitive information and secure facilities.
Duties shall include, but are not limited to the following:
- Manage and prepare international partner/FMS conference spaces, ensuring all security requirements are met.
- Track inventories, self-inspections, training, and other essential documents for FMS and partner countries.
- Maintain and update the Cooperative Program Personnel (CPP) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Technology Assessment/Control Plan (TA/CP).
- Work with geographically separated Government Security Specialists (GSSOs) and international country security managers to track and document SAP security requirements.
- Create new security documents as additional FMS participants join the program.
- Conduct formal and informal inspections and assessments at both U.S. and international SAP facilities to ensure compliance.
- Prepare detailed trip reports and maintain communication records with GSSOs, foreign partners, and FMS participants.
- Support Government Security Managers during Executive Committee (EXCOM) and Tri-Service briefings.
- Conduct collateral and SAP self-inspections, track corrective actions, and conduct staff assistance visits.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Key Requirements:
- Security Clearance: Current Top Secret Clearance required
- Location: Must be able to work onsite in Arlington, VA
Position Qualifications
- Familiarity with DoD security requirements, SAP protocols, and FMS security processes.
- Experience managing SAP support for international and FMS stakeholders.
- Experience conducting security inspections and authoring formal reports.
- Experience leading SAP compliance tasks, including self-inspections, documentation, and tracking corrective actions.
- Available to work before/after typical office hours as work may demand
- Excellent briefing and technical writing skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities, with proficiency in coordinating with international stakeholders.
- Read, speak, and understand the English language fluently
- Expert experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe tools and systems including Excel, Project, Teams, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Complete a security screening interview
- The employee must maintain clearance and eligibility throughout employment.
- Must meet client suitability
