Our Receptionist’s duties include facilitating communication across the organization. In addition, you’ll be responsible for answering and managing the phones. You will occasionally welcome guests and greet people who visit the business.
To be successful as a Receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is a customer service role. You should also be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position.
Ultimately, a Receptionist’s duties are to provide our customers with excellent service and help keep the office running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Help keep the office clean.
- Facilitate communication between technicians and customers (phone, chat, email, scheduling).
- Take inbound calls from customers.
- Take inbound calls from prospective customers.
- Assist in scheduling services, and ensure route efficiency.
- Talk with customers and resolve problems, concerns and questions.
- Assist in collecting payments for services performed.
- Run errands.
- Help with office material ordering.
- Be very positive with the customers and to always help overcome issues and perceived problems and complaints.

- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. printers and scanners)

Qualifications

- Bilingual candidates are a plus
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or personal assistant is advantageous
