Peninsula Friends of Animals is currently seeking a dedicated Feline Caretaker to provide exceptional care for our rescue kittens, adult cats, and senior felines. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cat health and behavior. Responsibilities for this role include overseeing feline well-being, administering medications, feeding, thoroughly sanitizing play areas, and maintaining litter box cleanliness. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to thrive in a dynamic work setting, navigate stairs with ease, and lift objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
Additional Job Skills :
- Excellent communication skills to interact with volunteers, visitors, and potential adopters.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations, such as handling aggressive or fearful cats.
- Knowledge of basic veterinary procedures and ability to administer treatments under supervision.
