Volunteer Services Coordinator Position Summary
Coordinates and supervises volunteer services in accordance with administrative and departmental plans. Recruits and assists in maintaining an adequate, competent and satisfied volunteer group. Recommends and supports goals and objectives that are consistent with the mission statement of Peninsula Regional Medical Center.
Volunteer Services Coordinator Position Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2 to 3 years experience in volunteer administration required.
- Public Speaking courses helpful
Experience
- 2 years experience with a structured volunteer program or commensurate experience dealing with groups of diversified volunteers.
Volunteer Services Coordinator Work Schedule
- Exempt position, primarily day shift
- Expected to respond if contacted in the event of a disaster
Volunteer Services Coordinator Benefits
- At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members wor (king at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
