Journeyman Roofer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, with the ability to install roofing materials including Metal, Composition, PVC, TPO, and torch-down. The applicant will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the work, working safely, and adhering to safety protocols.

Duties:

- Install roofing materials, including shingles, metal panels, underlayment and membranes.
- Work on various types of roofing systems, including pitched and flat roofs.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the integrity of the roof and identify any issues that may arise.
- Perform carpentry tasks as needed.
- Work with caulking to create a watertight seal around the roof.
- Repair damaged or worn-out roofing materials.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the project is completed efficiently and effectively.

Skills:

- Carpentry skills
- Ability to install a variety of roofing materials
- Experience with driving dump trucks - Valid drivers license required
- Proficiency in caulking
- Ability to restore and repair damaged or worn-out roofing materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with company policies and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.

Qualifications
- Experience in roofing and construction
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to perform some carpentry work
- Capable of heavy lifting and working on construction sites

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
