Penmac is seeking an experience Staff Accountant to join our client's team in Warrensburg, MO. This is a contract-to-hire position starting at $55k per year. This is an on-site position with a first shift schedule Monday through Friday from 8A-5P.
Job Purpose: Supports organization financial objectives by providing financial analysis, recommendations, and support to the Finance Director.

To support the Finance Director in the below related duties.
- Accomplishes accounting task by communicating and enforcing values, policies, and procedures per established GAAP accounting guidelines.
- Follows accounting organizational strategies by contributing financial information, analysis, and recommendations for strategic thinking and direction.
- Establishing personal functional objectives in line with organization.
- Provides financial projections by assisting with coordinating budget/forecast preparation in addition to collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial information. Advising departments on the collection and analysis of data.
- Maintains sufficient funds by forecasting cash requirements and obligations.
- Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data. To include analyzing sales margin by product and service pricing policies.
- Minimizes inventory investment by analyzing turns.
- Perform general accounting processes and procedures.
- Provide assistance and back up accounts receivable and accounts payable when needed along with any related duties as assigned.
- Protect the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Minimum: 4-year Accounting degree.
- 3 Years’ Accounting experience preferred.
- Manufacturing and Cost Accounting experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
Salary : $55,000
