This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday from 6:00 AM – 3:00PM. This position is a ten-month contract running from August through May, that is renewed each year.

- Coordinates assignments of substitutes on a daily basis.
- Notifies appropriate school personnel of daily absences and sub coverage
- Maintains a substitute database and file on available and approved substitute teachers.
- Provides campus liaisons updates to any changes in the substitute roster.
- Approves substitute payroll hours on a weekly basis.
- Maintains a spreadsheet of daily sub assignments for reference as needed by administration.
- Attends substitute teacher orientation and training.
- Updates and distributes a substitute contact and preference document at the substitute teacher orientation meeting.
- Recruit, screen and interview applicants. Evaluate job skills for placement at the proper assignment.
- Develop relationships with school personnel and provide quality staffing services.
- Review job details with clients and provide to associates in printed form to guarantee understanding of requirements.
- Ensure all orders are promptly filled to school’s satisfaction.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and candidates; and communicate with others in a calm, positive and professional manner.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
- High School diploma required, Associates degree or higher preferred
- Previous office or school experience preferred
- Displays proficiency in all related computer applications, including Microsoft Office programs, email and Internet.
- Ability to work early morning and evening hours.
- Ability to complete tasks with little supervision.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in matters relating to faculty, staff and students.
- Conveys a very warm, friendly, and outgoing personality.
- Self-starter capable of working independently as well as in a team-environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrates very effective organizational skills.
- Ability to successfully learn, navigate and use Penmac’s internal programs and systems
