Position Summary:
The physical therapy assistant provides physical therapy services under the direction of the physical therapist or lead physical therapist to home health patients in their place of residence according to the physician’s plan of care.
Essential Job Requirements
Education:Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program with either an Associate’s degree in science or applied science that is approved by American Physical Therapy Association, Inc. Licensed to practice as a physical therapy assistant in the State of Pennsylvania.
Experience:Appropriate experience as a physical therapy assistant. Home Health experience preferred.
Required skills:Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and organization skills. Valid driver’s license required.
