Serves as the health system's subject matter expert and lead for all inpatient and ambulatory clinical applications (i.e. EMR / EHR, Orders / Results, Ancillary (lab, radiology, pharmacy, rehab, etc.)), practice management, revenue cycle and interrelated systems. Also responsible for the interoperability between all PHH applications (clinical, financial and administrative) as well as to external systems (Health Information Exchanges, registries, regulatory / quality connectivity, or other healthcare entities as needed. Manages all related staff / teams within these areas of responsibility, provides leadership and guidance for all related system implementations, support, upgrades and maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Education : BACHELORS DEGREE MANDATORY, MASTERS DEGREE AND RN PREFERRED
- Experience : 5 YEARS HEALTHCARE / HOSPITAL APPLICATIONS MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE
- Preferred candidates will have a working knowledge of Oracle Health(Cerner) EMR / Revenue Cycle and INFOR ERP systems
- Required skills : KNOWLEDGE OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS, HOSPITAL OPERATIONS, AND GENERAL ACCOUNTING PRINCIPLES.
